Always wanted to see Asia while further informing your artistic practice? Asialink Arts Residency Program is sending Australian writers, performers, artists and arts managers to undertake residencies in over 20 Asian countries.

The grant of up to $12,000 for three months goes towards:

• travel
• living and project expenses
• giving grant recipients the opportunity for in-depth research, stimulating cultural exchanges, international collaboration
• providing uninterrupted time for creativity

Applicants to the Asialink Arts Residency Program can choose from a range of Host Partners across the region, propose their own Self-Initiated Residency, take part in a Reciprocal Residency or choose a new model of residency from our Residency Laboratory.

Deadline for applications: 5pm EST Monday 3 September 2012.

This round of applications is for arts residencies undertaken between 1 January and 31 December 2013.
