The artists behind Whelping Box have been hard at work in Track 8 at Carriageworks, making the final adjustments to their performance running between this 23 October – 3 November.

Our staff that attended an early showing last week came back with raised eyebrows and tons of praise. “Unsettling”, “deeply emotive”, “sexy”, “visceral” and “profound” were a few adjectives being thrown around.

Perhaps the most accurate and straight-to-the-point statement, however, came from our Co-Director, Jeff Khan: “I have seen A LOT of things in my life, but this (performance) is like nothing I have EVER witnessed before!” which pretty much sums up all we need to know before attending a worthy arts event.

So, ladies, gentlemen and significant others, if you want an experience that you will NEVER, ever forget, we suggest Whelping Box to be high up on your priority list this week.
