THE MAKING OF THE FLAG: GIVE US BACK OUR UNIONS

Performance Space are seeking some keen volunteers to assist artist Sussi Porsborg in a flag making workshop from 11am – 2pm from Tuesday 2 Oct to Saturday 6 Oct. An exhibition of the flags will be held on Sunday Oct 7, with help needed from 12pm – 4pm. The workshops and exhibition will take place at Sydney Trades Hall, 4 Goulburn St Sydney.

Tasks may include but are not limited to:

·      Audience Surveys
·      Checking doorlists
·      Cutting and ironing small amounts of fabric
·      Basic sewing (with a machine)
·      Hanging flags
·      Encouraging participants

An interest in Australian Unionism and/or sewing is a plus, but not essential. If you are interested please email your details and availability to projects@performancespace.com.au
