Tess De Quincey and Professor Gay McAuley alongside a number of artists and thinkers will discuss place in performance, particularly in relation to De Quincey Co’s TRIPLE ALICE, which is an ongoing exploration and series of works initiated by three live, site- and temporally-specific annual laboratories staged in the Central Desert of Australia 1999-2001. A selection of documentation excavated from the project’s archive in the Department of Performance Studies will be available in the Clubhouse library.
